Andrea Vannini is an Italian Yoga Facilitator living in Switzerland since 2018.
She will be part of the JA! Yoga Festival guiding her classes in English (that’s also why you are reading this blogpost in this language).

Andrea is the founder of Corpo Giardino – Yoga Practices, a swiss-based Yoga company where she supports passion driven and high energy women in creating and sustaining balance into their life.
Andrea always loves to say:
“By applying Yoga tools daily and following the wisdom of nature, we can learn how to navigate stressful situations, refresh our system, replenish our energy and move with more confidence. I had to learn it the hard way, and maybe this is exactly why I am so passioned about sharing this message now”.
In Corpo Giardino – Yoga Practices she loves to empower Women with Yoga, sharing with them tools to apply daily in order to create and sustain balance. She loves to see the shift when a student uses Yoga as a means of tapping into inner strength and embracing humanity, thus having more compassion and clearer thoughts, words, and actions.
Andrea’s Yoga Journey
Andrea Vannini stepped into a yoga studio for the first time in 2012, at 23 years old, while she was going through a stressful period working as an event coordinator for a luxury company in Florence, Italy. Her young age, lack of boundaries and her low-self-esteem led her to a burn out.
This experience left her exhausted, incredible tired in the body, foggy in the mind and with the feeling that she didn’t have enough resources (internal and external) and support.
… but Yoga showed up on Ponte Vecchio

Andrea’s life was about to change completely while she was walking back home crossing the amazing Ponte Vecchio in Florence with a beautiful sunset.
She remembers that day like this:
“I didn’t notice either the beauty of Ponte Vecchio or the sunset. My head was spinning very fast, my gaze was towards the floor and I only wanted to go home – I felt miserable. Somehow, I lifted my head up and run into a good friend of mine.
He was glowing, had a big smile on his face and told me he never felt so good in his entire life. I asked him what his secret was, and he suggested me to try Yoga. I was skeptical, but I went anyway. As you can imagine in that moment, my life completely changed”
During that time of confusion and vulnerability, practicing yoga daily allowed her to gain strength, to stay focused and to take care of herself on a higher level. After one year of practicing Andrea was ready to let go her career and focus only on teaching Yoga.
Andrea became a Yoga Teacher
She attended a 200 Hr. Teacher Training Program in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in September 2013 and a 50 Hr. Rocket Training Program in October 2013 at It’s Yoga Firenze, where she completed her 500-hr. recognized by Yoga Alliance.
In 2018 after the first years of assessment after she moved to Switzerland, she decided to take the leap, breathe in all the courage, and opened Corpo Giardino – Yoga Practices, a safe place for woman where to breathe, sweat, meditate, and reflect.
A place for women like her, with a lot of passion, fire and energy that they are tired to be always exhausted, stressed out or burn out.
“Yoga gives us incredible tools to create and sustain balance and nourish our wellbeing”
Andrea always says

Andrea Vannini ’s method
Andrea’s approach to the teaching and practice of Yoga is holistic: after almost 10 years of experience, she is blending and using her experience and different Yoga tools to create and sustain balance daily.
The cycle of living is her main guidance: by following the natural rhythm of a day, our monthly cycle and year, she creates tailor made practices and rituals.
“When we live aligned with the cycle of living, we live in a sustainable way; and only when we live in a sustainable way, we can create and nourish balance in our life.”
Andrea Vannini
She uses different Yoga tools that this amazing tradition gave us, shaping and combining these tools to meet certain needs of a single student or group.
- Asana | Positions – Vinyasa Flow (Ashtanga inspired), Yin Yoga
- Pranayama – Breath Regulation
- Journaling – Off the Mat Practice for reflection and action
- Meditation – Self Awareness and Mindfulness, embracing our wholeness
She considers every single class that she leads like a journey within us, where we can reconnect to our inner guidance and understand where if and where we need to take actions to take care of ourselves.
Andrea offers in person and online classes (groups&private), workshops, virtual and in person retreats and online courses.
